Safety glasses must be worn at ALL times, even if you think you are alone, you may not be. If you are ambushed without your glasses, it is a possibility that you may damage an eye. You only get one set of eyes so look after them.
Cheaters will get their heads punched in. This is a promise and will be enforced. You have been warned.
The only weapon authorized for skirmish is a glove gun.
The firing mechanism of a glove gun must be a rubber glove finger at the end of the barrel to propel the bullet. If it doesnt have that, its not a glove gun.
Approved ammunition includes:
o Dried peas
o Chick peas
o Seed tapioca (sago) [shotgun pellets]
o Any other seeds.
Dried peas are the recommended ammunition.
Ball bearings are not permitted under any circumstances; they are extremely powerful and very dangerous.
There is no hand-to-hand combat.
If you break a glove mid-battle, or run out of ammo, you cannot be given immunity, you can still be shot. It is your responsibility to act quickly in battle and fix your situation.
Headshots are definitely permitted, as are close quarters shots.
Play as a team. Dont make life hard for your teammates.
And finally, dont be a pussy. Dont be afraid, take an aggressive stance and hold your ground. Dont let your teammates down by retreating when it is not necessary. Play to win.
Capture the flag
Object-To capture the enemy teams flags, whilst defending your own.
This game can be played at day or night.
Both teams are to have an equal number of flags.
The flags must be placed in central position in the base, greater than 1m & less than 2m high, or in a prearranged and agreed upon position.
It is cheating to hide the flags at your base or elsewhere.
To win a game of capture the flag, one team must possess all of the flags in play (both their teams and the enemy teams), and they must all be at the set flag position at the base at the one time to count as a win.
When you are shot, you must count out 20 seconds before resuming play.
You must count out aloud the last 10 seconds of your time out, to alert people of your reappearance into the game.
It is cheating not to count out aloud for the last ten seconds or otherwise deceive players about your game status.
There are variations on what to do when shot, there can be different count out times (i.e., 30seconds, 60 seconds), you may have to return to your base when shot before resuming play, or you may even be out of the game until the next match.
What rule is in play should be discussed and agreed upon before starting the match.
You cannot wait right next to someone who was shot, and is about to return to the game, and shoot them as soon as they return.
If you have been shot, and are counting, you must raise your arms to signify that you are dead. This helps nearby players distinguish who is still in and a threat or support, and it also stops you from accidentally being shot again.
You may move while you are dead, but it is illegal to move great distances to gain a tactical advantage whilst counting. It is legal to move to escape crossfire though.
There are no hostages.
Each player can only carry one flag at a time.
When you are shot when in possession of a flag, the first person to come and collect it may take possession of the flag, regardless of what team they belong to.
It is legal to pass the flag on to another player.
It is cheating if you do not tell someone if you are in possession of the flag if asked.
